CLEARANCE: Incense Burner - ASHCATCHER, TWO TONE TIMBER
CLEARANCE - DISCONTINUED ITEM
Handmade TWO TONE WOODEN ASH CATCHER hand made incense stick burner. Made in India.
The simplest form of incense burner, these ashcatchers have a hole drilled towards one end, to insert the stick of your Indian stick incense ('agarbatti' sticks - traditional Indian incense with a bamboo inner stick). As the stick burns down, the ash will fall into the groove of the ashcatcher to dispose of later. Length approx 26cm, our TWO TONE ashcatchers are made with several different types of timber, giving the burner a unique striped design running down the length of the burner. Made in India - as these burners are handmade there can be slight variations from one to the next.
NOTE: Does not work with Japanese incense which has no bamboo inner stick. Note also that the hole is drilled a little further down than some other ashcatchers (see pic 2), but it still holds the stick firmly and securely. As always never leave lit incense unattended.
HANDMADE WOODEN INCENSE BURNERS: As many of our incense burners are handmade in small batches from natural timber, they can sometimes have small imperfections which is part of what makes them special and unique. The timber can be a slightly different colour or texture to the one pictured, or it may have handcarving that varies slightly. They are NOT mass produced and so any minor cosmetic imperfections are standard.
