Even if you have never used essential oils before, using a pre-made blend will remove the need for guesswork and make choosing your oils easy. Every blend contains 100% pure undiluted plant-based essential oils with NO additives, filler, synthetic fragrances or carrier oil: just stunning pure essential oils.

Our blends are ready to use via any method that you would normally use your pure essential oils for: in your oil diffuser, an aromatic bath, or add to massage oil for a sensual body rub. See the checklist below for ideas on the best ways to use this particular oil blend, and CLICK HERE to view our LEARN MORE page covering exactly how to use each method - even if you're completely new to Aromatherapy.

, describing which oils can be used for Headaches, Nausea, Congestion, Anxiety, Stress and even Concentration.

COLD & FLU DEFENCE
Our COLD & FLU DEFENCE Essential Oil Blend contains natural essential oils that are known to be antiviral, antiseptic, antimicrobial and immune-boosting, to help you ward off colds and flu and assist with fighting germs and viruses that might be lurking. Containing pure essential oils such as Niaouli, Lemon, Rosemary, Tea Tree and soothing Lavender, our Defence blend has a pleasant, natural medicinal scent with a fresh 'lemony' overtone.

COLD & FLU RELIEF
Aromatherapy is excellent for treating respiratory issues involved with colds and flu, and our COLD & FLU RELIEF Essential Oil Blend contains natural essential oils that are known to be antiseptic and antiviral, as well as decongestant and expectorant, to assist with relieving symptoms and help with breathing difficulties. RELIEF is excellent in a room burner or warm bath, plus we also include with every purchase 5 x  BONUS blank (unscented) inhaler sticks (photo #2 / #3 - colours may vary), so you can carry your blends with you wherever you go. RELIEF contains pure essential oils including Eucalyptus (Euc globulus), fresh and woody Cypress & Pine Scotch, as well as crisp Rosemary oil, creating a pleasant, natural scent that is a pleasure to use.

AQ DEFENCE & RELIEF Blends can be used via a number of methods:

* 8 - 10 drops in any Aromatherapy oil diffuser
* 8 - 10 drops in a bath
* 3  - 4 drops in a steam inhalation
* 8 - 10 drops in a blank stick inhaler (see below)
* 1 - 2  drops on a tissue and inhaled as necessary
* 5 - 6 drops per 10ml carrier oil or base cream to make a chest or body rub. Avoid creams using petro-chemicals as they form a barrier to stop penetration of the oils, and avoid applying to the eye or mouth area.

IMPORTANT: AS WITH ANY TREATMENT, if symptoms persist see a qualified medical practitioner. Aromatherapy is intended to enhance, not replace traditional Western medicine.

* SAFETY NOTE: Never apply any essential oil directly to the skin undiluted (see our LEARN MORE pages for full instructions on how to use our oils if you're unsure). Also note that products such as these that contain Eucalyptus globulus oil are best avoided when dealing with infants and small children - see our OILS 4 KIDS Blends instead for oils specifically designed for use with younger children, and always use less for older children than you would with an adult.

HINT: For aches and pains associated with colds & flu, try our ANTI-ACHE Blend - warming oils such as Black Pepper, Ginger or Rosemary can help reduce discomfort, while French Lavender, a known analgesic and mild sedative, can help treat aches and pains.

FREE BONUS - FIVE Blank Inhaler Sticks
Included with every COLD & FLU PACK is a set of FIVE blank (unscented) inhaler sticks, ready to add 8-10 drops to the wick to make your own portable carry-anywhere inhalers. These are also available separately and in bulk amounts. (See Photo #2 - colour may vary).

WHAT IS AN INHALER STICK?
Do you remember the inhaler sticks you used to carry about in your pocket as a kid, to clear your stuffy nose? These beaut little blank Aromatherapy Inhaler Sticks follow the same principle, and make it easy to use aromatherapy whenever you need it - carry them in your purse, pocket, desk drawer or glovebox, ready to use for any occasion. Each stick comes as a set of four pieces - the main inhaler stick which is hollow and has several holes around the base and top, to breathe the oils through; a wadded insert 'wick' that you add your oils to; an end cap; and a screw on cover to keep your inhaler fresh and airtight. Available separately by the stick (choose your colour) or as a pack of ten with two of each colour.

To create your own portable aromatherapy inhaler, just take the blank wick and add up to 20 drops of oil - some oils are stronger than others so 8-10 drops is usually enough (add the oils while leaning over a plate or something protective in case you drip them, and hold the wick with tweezers if you want to avoid getting any oil on your fingers). Then just pop the wick into the inhaler and click the end cap into place to seal it. It's as simple as that - whenever you want to inhale your oils it's ready to go, and when not in use the screw-on cover keeps it airtight so the oils don't dry out. The more you use or open your inhaler, the quicker the oils will dissipate: essential oils all last for different periods of time before they dissipate completely (base note oils last longer than top note oils for example), so just remove the wick and top up with fresh oils as necessary.
