Incense Burner - CENSER, HAND OF COMPASSION

Any charcoal or incense pictured is available separately, and is NOT included with the burner.

Our HAND OF COMPASSION design Censer / Charcoal Burner is suitable for burning self-igniting charcoal discs for use with resin or wood incense. The flat burner section can also be used for incense cones.

These are one of our favourite burners, a beautiful antique finish silver-toned burner perfect as an altar or decoration piece, as well as being a very practical incense censer for resins. The three dimensional hand (approx 11cm at the longest) lays upon a 8 x 13cm rectangular base, with the thumb holding a raised Lotus burner platform that has plenty of room for a charcoal tablet, or can also be used for incense cones - the flat area is approx 4.5cm in diameter.

Important: you must ensure that you take all care to ensure children or pets cannot access your censer while burning, and that the censer cannot be accidentally bumped etc as the charcoal burns red hot, and both the charcoal and the burner may be hot enough to burn the skin if touched. Always place your censer on a heat proof surface during use.

Don't forget to order CHARCOAL TABLETS if you don't already have some on hand. View our RESIN INCENSE SECTION HERE.

WHAT IS RESIN INCENSE, AND HOW DO I BURN IT?

Resin incense has been used since Biblical days. It is the purest form of incense: natural gums, resins, wood chips and herbs from aromatic plants, used either in pure pellets or in a pre-mixed blend, and warmed with heat (usually charcoal disks / tablets) to emit their fragrance through aromatic smoke.

We specialise in resins and stock dozens of different pure gums and blends in the most divine natural scents to suit every taste. If you enjoy standard stick incense, you are sure to enjoy resin incense.
