Japanese Incense - Mainichi-Koh VIVA SANDALWOOD 5.5"
Quality Japanese Nippon Kodo brand MAINICHI-KOH VIVA SANDALWOOD stick incense. Bundle of approx 40 delicate, bamboo-free sticks, each approx 5.5" (13.5cm) in length.
The No.1 selling brand in Japan, using selected natural ingredients, this Nippon Kodo incense is made in Japan by incense craftsmen whose art of incense making has more than 400 years of tradition behind it. Use these sticks anywhere to create a mood of tranquility to relax the spirit and the body - the perfect accompaniment to a relaxing bath.
New to incense? Simply place one end of the stick in a heat-proof dish or bowl of sand (or incense burner suitable for Japanese incense). Ignite incense sticks by lighting the tip with a match or lighter and wait until it burns an even red. Blow out the flame and allow the aromatic smoke to waft gently through the room. Never leave lit incense or candles unattended.
HINT: Japanese incense tends to have less smoke than traditional Indian incense: if you want a stronger scent just burn a couple of sticks at a time.
NOTE: As Japanese incense does not have a bamboo inner stick, these sticks will NOT work with Indian incense box burners or ashcatchers as they will not fit in the drilled holes. 'Morning Star' Japanese incense (listed separately) comes with a small burning tile that can also be used with this Mainichi Koh incense, alternately use in a bowl of sand or earth, or any burner that has been designed to be used with Japanese incense.
